Cigarette paper needs to be dried little by little starting from low temperature with an increase range cylinder by cylinder.

FOMAT Technologies Steam Plants for Ondulators are realised with cascade system so to obtain the maximum efficiency into ondulator cylinder, moreover with a special system we regulate single facer at the determined indication and at variable temperatures from 1 bar to the maximum pressure. The system is a close one so to obtain the elimination of flash steam and to have max energy efficiency.  

Practical and simple, our ROTARY JOINT solves all kind of maintenance problem. In few time you can substitute the "cartdridge" which contains all those parts subject to usury so that machine stops will be really decreased. The old “cartdridge” can be repaired in your workshop or it can be sent back to Fomat srl in order to be regenerated.

FOMAT Technologies Condensate Extraction plant allows to drain in a perfect way smooth or grooved Yankee cylinders and thanks to thier particular construction  they are able to breck the ring which creates at high rotating speed so to obtain an uniform drying profile of paper in transversal way.  

In order to project a Steam Plant you have always to start from extraction system that's to say from the siphon. According top our long experience in Steam Plant realisation, Fomat decided to realise by himself the joint and the siphon, the heart of the whole plant. 

Turbolence bars are used to improve condensate removal so to increase wet profile and production.                                            

Our STANDARD SHOWER PIPES represents a concrete answer to felts and wire cleaning system for paper mills. Our standard shower pipes are realised using the most competitives technologies so to satisfy all necessities. The body is in AISI 304 or 316 or in other materials so to be able to workwith pressures till 40 bar. We can also supply with measure from 1" till 6" of DN and with variable measures according to the customer request. 

Patented equipment for a quick and safe shower removal that can be done while the machine is running.

During the maintenance is not necessary:

Ø      To unthread the hose for water supply;

Ø      To take off the supports;

Ø      To stop the oscillation;

Ø      To take off the oscillator.

Automatic Cleaning System.

Fomat was the first, about 20 years ago, to understand the need of the papermaker to keep the felt and the wire clean. A perfect cleaning of these two elements corresponds to a long life of the same and a better paper quality.

Fomat realised edge trimming machine with precise adjustment of nozzle position so to obtain max safety during the operation of edge trim change while the machine is working. 

Standard Blade Oscillator has a sinusoidal speed and a run inversion with a variable frequence; these two functions cauese some vibrations which produce damages to the Yankee. So Fomat studied a sofisticated oscillation system which keeps constant the speed in both running verse and it avoids inversion dead times and by consequnce dangerous vibrations are eliminated. 

This multiple self-cleaning water filter is able for the continous functioning in a Paper Mill because its attitude of washing rigeneration is completely automatic and it does not need to stop the filtration. 

Fomat FRG Basis Weight Valve main advantage is the constant high resolution , which remains 1/10.000 also with actuation tima change.

This plant is realised to filter and to warm water previously treated till a temperature of 50°C. Warming can be done electrically or with steam or with condensate in anindirect way. Then the plant is furnished of n. 4 adjustable dosing pumps which send chimical product into mixers in linea. This mixt is then sent to the shower pipe put under the Yankee to apply the coating.
